Nothing

When doing a nothing, you need to have a slightly forward body position. This will allow you to get back on the bike without losing control first. Working up to a full "nothing" (aka no handed no footer) requires that you are already capable of no handers and no footers. From there, its all about putting them together. However, just going over a jump and taking off your hands and feet at the same time will be very uncomfortable and awkward. When you go over the jump, do a no footer first and just think about taking off your hands. That should be scary enough if its the first time you have ever thought about such a thing. Next time over the jump, if you are ready, do a no footer but release the pressure on your hands the same way you did when learning a no hander. If you don't feel safe releasing both hands from the bars, just work on taking one hand off for a while. Keep jumping and lifting your hand(s) more and more above the bars, a little more each time as you jump. Its important to remember that as you are learning a nothing to move your hands after you are in the no footer position. When you are coming back on the bike, you need to grab the bars first to regain your control over the bike, then close your legs and grip the bike with your legs as you land. There should be a gradual progression from doing the no footer first to doing the foot/hand movements at the same time. Over time, learning to move the hands and feet out at the same time will come naturally.
